Intern Qualifications:

Time Commitment: Minimum of 10 hours a week

Duration: June 2022 to November 2022 (6-months)

General analytical skills are essential, as well as interpersonal and communication skills.  Demonstrated computer skills and experience in applications such as Microsoft Word, EXCEL, ACCESS, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated skills and experience in oral and written communication, organizational abilities to conduct duties and projects in a timely and quality manner. Experience is using online project management tools. Can think strategically, and have strong research and presentation skills. Ability to work in a team setting as well as self-starting independence.

Available Internship:

Communications  Internship

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of conducting research and compiling data. The candidate will process and analyze data in context and look for patterns to help make decisions. The candidate will give advice on findings and recommend strategy.  The candidate will write reports and may be requested to conduct presentations to colleagues.

The candidate acts as brand steward to ensure branding consistency across all projects. Effectively support the development, design, approval, production and distribution of marketing materials in partnership with the creative team to increase the company’s visibility.  The candidate will interact with internal and external clients to deliver the organization’s messages to the public and the media. The candidate will need to have excellent project management and organizational skills,  written and verbal communications skills, and will be responsible for the proofing/editing of external communications. The candidate should have knowledge in developing press releases, interfacing with media via print, digital, and social media.
